The UK is prioritizing the second dose for those over 50, of coarse there is going to be higher mortality for breakthrough cases in that group.

I think you're quoting the debunked reports of a trail of a different vaccine years before COVID, where they said all the animals "died of ADE" when in fact they were euthanized at the end of the trial, which always happens in animal trials so they can perform an autopsy and check for side effects.
