That is 0.1%. The covid vaccines are only upto 95% effective, which could be about 150 thousand vaccine failures in 3 million and still be 95% effective. As opposed to the flue vaccine, which at best is 60% effective, which is 1.2 million flue vax failures in 3 million people.

Are you more or less likely to get COVID after vax? Are you more likely to test positive after vax? Are you more likely to get tested for COVID after vax? What about if you're u have never been tested for COVID before? Are you more likely to notice you have COVID after the vax?

OK, let's break it down.
If you JUST look at it from the point-of-view that if you get to hospital, how likely are you likely to die? - this removes quite a lot of the biasses.

Of course, there will be a TON of cases which never get diagonsed, and a 1/4 ton of cases that never need to go to hospital.. and the relative proportions for vaxed/unvaxed in these buckets are unknown for now...likely more unvaxxed than vaxed have diagnosed cases, (they feel the symptoms more?)

BUUT heres one important part:

IF you make it to hospital, how likely are you to die?

Well, that aint lookin' too good in the UK. (mostly AZ vaccine there)..

Unvax: 34/527 (6%) dead/hospitalised
1-Vax: 10/135 (7%)
2-vax: 26/84 (31%)

Biases here; older people more likely to have 2-Vax doses. Others?

So 527 unvaccinated in hospital and only 84 double vaccinated persons?
-> Conclusion: the Vaccines is working.

The double vaccinates are usualy older, so the unvaccinated ones are usualy younger people.
-> Conclusion: The Vaccines is working good.

These propaganda rumors always go just a bit too far and give themselves away.

The little bit about them debating not allowing vaccinated pilots to fly was just a bit much.
