Directly from the horse’s mouth, dpw.lacounty.gov,

LA county uses “highly purified” recycled wastewater, (which includes toilet water piped through sewers and waste water treatment plants), for a wide range of purposes including “indirect potable re-uses, in which highly purified recycled water is used to recharge underground aquifers” ...

When you think about it, everyone uses highly purified waste water.

If you have a private septic system, everything that goes through it ends up in the water table eventually to be sucked up by somebody's well.

But don’t you think funneling treated water, during a pandemic, into municipal aquifers in Orange County might make an exponential difference in possible problems? I do. Southern CA’s water supply is not exactly the same as the rushing mountain water of New England you are lucky enough to have access to.

Kevin McCairn suggests everyone on municipal water should start boiling their drinking water.

I have read that live venues will be back during 2021 and so forth, but maybe not from personal experience.

I have been to a couple of live musical performances during this time and felt safe. There was social distancing and masks required.

Recently, I bought tickets live to see Frankie Vallie and the Four Seasons scheduled for this July. Today, that was moved until April, 2022. That is the third time it has been rescheduled. Originally, it was going to be held in 2020. My tickets are still honored, and it will give me something to look forward to.

WOW. I can hardly believe YouTube canceled Richard Fleming PhD, MD, JD!

His website, with all his remarkable SARS-CoV-2 videos, so eloquently explained, is beyond the censors ... for now. Highly recommended viewing.

I have 2 main doom prep flashlights I really like - a Nitecore keychain usb flashlight (around 400 lumens) $40ish, and a 20v DeWalt LED work light, ($55) both of which have been surprisingly reliable for years.

Can charge the Nitecore quickly in the car. It’s waterproof and blinding.

I have an old heavy scratched up ACRO HID 990X 3200 lumen that I used for work. They still make them I believe. It still operates but the battery fizzled. At $175 just for the battery, I am passing. However, it worked faithfully for many years. The progression of flashlight brightness and weight has been amazing.

this theory plays with RW's low hanging fruit theory well. some ppl are more suceptable to even a cold or other illness. a low-grade variant of the covid virus would hit those ppl even iof they only had a slight exposure. where as a healthy person could b skipped by a low grade version.

since we know the virus mutates constantly, it is logical that some cases could mutate up and get worse. we have seen this as the virus took whole families down.and there have been localized outbreaks such as the Indian reservation in AZ.

this also explains the progress in NZ,Australia,UK,and Israel. they got lucky with a low-grade variant and it mutated down. still can be jumping or spreading but not making ppl severely sick so they avoid hospitals.

BRAZIL and evidently FRANCE now got hit with a different mutation. and that version mutated up and infected and made more ppl ill.hence, their cases are exploding.

the US and UK got lucky in a sence that we got a lower grade version in the beginning and that version muated down to b less severe.

the thing is with out border open, we are starting to spread the other variants that are going to do the opposite of what we have seen thus far.

as we have seen reports, mixing variants causes viral explosions and becomes deadly.ppl won't b infected with 1 low-grade version but will b fighting off multiple versions at once.mix 3 variants and death rates will spike FAST.

this theory also explains RW's survival past his 9 lives. his immune system is hyper focused due to his work. his risk is much lower than an average person. the original variant that the coast saw passed over him.

so unless you are compromised due to some illness, the original strain in the US would pass over u.the odds were in your favor not to even get sick. if u had some major illness, then u should have been isolated.this worked for the 1st or original strain.

if i am right. the new variants from Brazil and South Africa will be spreading by now. the areas that had the 1st cases of those should b watched. that is where we should see major case #'s and deaths. that will warn us ahead of the coming waves or storm. also the class of ppl infected will b different. BRAZIL i believe is seeing more younger ppl infected. the ages and health status of those going to the hospitals will change.

KENT or UK2 is a super virus. Clark Kent was superman.

that goes with a theory that this BIO-LAB created virus can mutate up to b more dangerous. it is more likely than anormal natural virus to do that by design.

in the US ,the west coast had a harder time or version than the east coast.which fits my theory since the west would have gotten a more direct version from WUHAN.

this theory is based on what i see here in rural counties of PA and NY states. and what we hear and see cross the globe. only way i could logically explain why we did not go full outbreak. the masks slow it but ppl were still shopping and visiting each other. we had a hard lockdown for 2 weeks but that wouldn't stop the virus. 1 spark should have set off a huge fire here.

i doubt we keep being lucky for much longer.here, we have UK and other variants a county away.

I just really never got too worked up about drinking water safety, considering we live in a 1st world country.

There's people on this Earth who would kill you and your whole family just to have a lifetime supply of tap water from Flint Michigan.

My well is only 30' deep, and I'm pretty sure there's a chipmunk that shits in the flower bed that surrounds it every morning as I always scare him out of there when I come out to go to work.

I have a filter and a UV light, and I've been fine for the past 5 years that I've been drinking it every day. The bulb blew out one time and for a couple of months I was unknowingly drinking the water without it.

People get worked up about water but if there was anything in it that bad, you don't need to drink it cooking or showering would get you just as bad.

Please don't take this as a personal attack I give this speech to everyone who says they don't drink water straight from their tap...

Yeah, most people aren’t as cautious as I am but I do much better without drinking well water where I am. I’ve had my water tested and, being in Illinois, it’s full of fluoride.

I know people who have gotten very sick with e.coli from Milwaukee water which got contaminated from a mistaken dumping of sewer water after a big rainfall and someone who lives over some (Edwards?) aquifer in Tx where the water is so radioactive scrap metal from plumbing lines and water heaters can’t be reused. Then there was a time (uncle news), which never made it to public awareness, when the water in a large city was toxic for weeks which was traced to chemicals improperly disposed of by a major concrete company which used strong poisons for cleaning out the interiors of their concrete mixing trucks. Unfortunately I could go on and on with such stories which never make the news ...

Got to say, your lifestyle is a little different to mine-"My well is only 30' deep, and I'm pretty sure there's a chipmunk that shits in the flower bed that surrounds it every morning as I always scare him out of there when I come out to go to work." Although I have had my moments, "remembrance of things past". Proust [link to www.gutenberg.org (secure)]

Two tapestries of high warp represented the coronation of Esther (in which tradition would have it that the weaver had given to Ahasuerus the features of one of the kings of France and to Esther those of a lady of Guermantes whose lover he had been); their colours had melted into one another, so as to add expression, relief, light to the pictures. A touch of red over the lips of Esther had strayed beyond their outline; the yellow on her dress was spread with such unctuous plumpness as to have acquired a kind of solidity, and stood boldly out from the receding atmosphere; while the green of the trees, which was still bright in Silk and wool among the lower parts of the panel, but had quite 'gone' at the top, separated in a paler scheme, above the dark trunks, the yellowing upper branches, tanned and half-obliterated by the sharp though sidelong rays of an invisible sun. All these things and, still more than these, the treasures which had come to the church from personages who to me were almost legendary figures (such as the golden cross wrought, it was said, by Saint Eloi and presented by Dagobert, and the tomb of the sons of Louis the Germanic in porphyry and enamelled copper), because of which I used to go forward into the church when we were making our way to our chairs as into a fairy-haunted valley, where the rustic sees with amazement on a rock, a tree, a marsh, the tangible proofs of the little people's supernatural passage—all these things made of the church for me something entirely different from the rest of the town; a building which occupied, so to speak, four dimensions of space—the name of the fourth being Time—which had sailed the centuries with that old nave, where bay after bay, chapel after chapel, seemed to stretch across and hold down and conquer not merely a few yards of soil, but each successive epoch from which the whole building had emerged triumphant, hiding the rugged barbarities of the eleventh century in the thickness of its walls, through which nothing could be seen of the heavy arches, long stopped and blinded with coarse blocks of ashlar, except where, near the porch, a deep groove was furrowed into one wall by the tower-stair; and even there the barbarity was veiled by the graceful gothic arcade which pressed coquettishly upon it, like a row of grown-up sisters who, to hide him from the eyes of strangers, arrange themselves smilingly in front of a countrified, unmannerly and ill-dressed younger brother; rearing into the sky above the Square a tower which had looked down upon Saint Louis, and seemed to behold him still; and thrusting down with its crypt into the blackness of a Merovingian night, through which, guiding us with groping finger-tips beneath the shadowy vault, ribbed strongly as an immense bat's wing of stone, Théodore or his sister would light up for us with a candle the tomb of Sigebert's little daughter, in which a deep hole, like the bed of a fossil, had been bored, or so it was said, "by a crystal lamp which, on the night when the Frankish princess was murdered, had left, of its own accord, the golden chains by which it was suspended where the apse is to-day and with neither the crystal broken nor the light extinguished had buried itself in the stone, through which it had gently forced its way."

I don’t drink my well water even though the well’s about 200’ deep.I distill it.

Valentin Louis Georges Eugène Marcel Proust bends your mind, but its worth the effort! After about twenty pages, it will start to wash over you (with the help of the OED and Google) and you will remember it forever. Did you know Stan was a prolific letter writer?.. Minnesota Long Term Care Residents Can Go To Outside Easter Activities - note that those "unvaccinated" residents are going to be treated "special" when the return.

[link to www.fox21online.com (secure)]

Recommendations related to outings:

Residents who are fully vaccinated do not have to quarantine after non-medically necessary outings unless they spend 15 minutes or more in a 24-hour period within 6 feet of someone who can spread COVID-19.

Residents who are fully vaccinated may gather indoors or outdoors with other people who are fully vaccinated.

Residents who are fully vaccinated can visit indoors or outdoors with unvaccinated people from a single household who are at low risk for severe COVID-19 infection.

If the resident is fully vaccinated, they can choose to have close contact (including touch) with the people they are visiting.

If a resident who is fully vaccinated chooses to attend a place of worship or other group events, or to shop or eat in public establishments, the resident should follow the core principles of COVID-19 infection prevention. MDH strongly encourages attending places of worship or other group events only when the 14-day county percent positivity rate is below 5%.

Unvaccinated residents who leave the building to gather with others may be required to quarantine when they return. At this time, quarantine recommendations remain unchanged for an unvaccinated resident, regardless of the vaccination status of those with whom they gather.

The CDC has given their "permission" for those vaccinated for C19 to travel, hallelujah/sarc

[link to pittsburgh.cbslocal.com (secure)]

In an updated posting on its website, the agency says fully vaccinated people can travel safely within the United States without a COVID-19 test as long as they wear a mask and social distance.

Those who are fully vaccinated don’t have to quarantine or get tested when they arrive unless their destination requires it.

The CDC recommends people delay travel until they’re fully vaccinated.

Who is being protected from whom? Experimental shots with unknown results/side effects for now, yet being treated as the "golden standard".
