Given that this was published today, it is very likely that they conducted this study several days ago - at the onset of the contagion. If true, I’d say that this is one ugly MF’r. 15% mortality rate among the small sample of test subjects - and 6 of those remaining are in ICU. No word on the remaining test cases, but I wonder if they’re still breathing.

That's true to a point. People fasting completely usually live longer than people that are irregularly eating small amounts of food. Fasting allows the digestive system to shut down completely which conserves calories. It's only beneficial to eat if you are going to be consuming more calories and nutrients than your body will require to keep your digestive system active and functional. Anything less, and you are doing more harm than good.

A 38 yr old, very healthy male friend to my husband caught something nasty about Nov 20th, he went to the hospital and they say he died of pneumonia, Odd thing was the hospital never ever put him on assisted breathing as he grew week. Like they secretly knew or something.

I,m older (female 60) I get double walking pneumonia almost every other year just because Im so fricken old now. I know how it feels.
I stock pile antibiotics (macro types) and I have an oxygen generator but I do not have a bi-pap breathing machine yet.

Not sure what I got sick with in late December, but it almost took me out.
I laid in bed with a fever for 11 days on oxygen, strong macro grade antibiotics and methylpredisone (steriods).
My lungs were almost totally flooded.
I'm still sickly but better now, not bed confined.

I do not like to be confined to bed for 11 days!
I was weak when I finally got up enough to move around.

I still have a nagging little cough and am on albuterol mist treatments and steriods still.

Whatever I caught was NOT normal for flu or pneumonia as I know them both very well by first hand experience.
This was different.
The first 3 days I only thought I had a bad case of seasonal (South Texas)pollen fever.
When it kicked in it was all I could do to make it to the bed.

Not sure what I had/have but it is not regular flu or regular pneumonia. It seriously would have taken me out if I was only to rely on EMS, ER and Hospital.

Where is the proof for 100k dead? My post I made earlier about them expediting a vaccine for this at the National Institute of Health was deleted quickly.
