P13315 I keep thinking about this virus. Some say it’s a bio weapon released by China’s enimies while others say it was accidentally released and then we have others which say it’s a natural mutation from eating bat soup. I’m leaning towards the accidentally released from the Wuhan lab. My reasoning why it’s NOT a bio weapon? Bio weapons are designed to be fast incapacitators and killers which quickly die out and don’t spread too far from where released. The reason for the quick die out is to not infect your own people by it spreading. Too long to act and die out the higher a chance your bio weapon has to infect your own men and people. Also the quick burn out is to stop mutations from happening in the wild. The reason why I’m going with the accidentally released front he Wuhan lab is because it is way too coincidental for this to have started 1. Right there where it started right next to a virus lab 2. The early response was way too severe and quick for it to be a natural virus which mutated. It’s like they knew what they were dealing with. This lab fucked up and now the world is paying the price for it. China first and then the rest of the world. All we can hope for is this either to mutate to super deadly and burn out fast, or mutate to super contagious but nothing more than a common cold. :2cents: |

I've been in Wal-mart many times and I have never seen items like that on pallets at the front of the store. The stuff at the front of the store is always seasonal-type stock, like candy around Valentine's Day or back-to-school around July. That's a decision that comes from higher up. I second this...was in a rural Walmart where a single remaining pack of N95 masks made it's way into my cart. and noticed bare shelves...not related to seasonal changes, but bereft of product, and what seemed like a meager attempt to spread the butter thin for a better appearance Anyone else notice this? Can any employees from Walmart, or similar competition confirm supply chain shortcoming? And what specific products are the most affected? Ours is strangely out of Powerade. So looking at the official numbers of cases in China (not worried if the numbers are accurate at this point), infection number are generally doubling every 72 hours. You can start with any date and see for yourself. So Friday 1/31, we were at 11,300 (give or take); today 2/3 we are at 20,622. Not quite a doubling, but pretty damned close. In the USA, we had 1 reported case on January 21st. today 2/3 we have 11 reported cases - just shy of the doubling again, which should have put us at 12 reported cases today. Let's test this So if USA is at 12 cases today, I suggest we will be right around 24 cases on Thursday night, February 6th and around 48 cases on Sunday, February 9th. In China, I think we will see a number around 21,000 by Thursday night, February 6th and around 42,000 on Sunday, February 9th. If these numbers hold true, I'm pretty sure we are fucked. And, if these numbers hold true, my ass is going to ground on Monday, February 10th. Damn good work man! Thanks! But it's not quite accurate, only because (I believe) we are being lied to by basically everybody. My prediction for today (taped to my work computer) was 58,000 cases. Sadly, I underestimated the Chinese reporting. And yes, I'm still at work waiting to bug out. My co-worker is still out with the "flu," and has been out since Thursday 2.6.2020. Hopefully it doesn’t turn out like my place. We shut down because we had so many people out with the flu. I and a couple others stayed after everyone went home and disinfected the entire office. Sunday I along with the other managers are going to be calling employees to see who is well and who isn’t and if it’s worthwhile to open up on Monday. I’ve been with this company for 18 years and we’ve never closed down like this except for Hurricanes. |
