Dude, look... Everyone knows the numbers coming out of China are not accurate. We have confirmation of Chinese crematoriums running full tilt 24/7. We have confirmation that China quarantined somewhere around 70 million of its citizens. And we know they were doing all of that back when the "official" fatalities were only in the hundreds. A country does NOT lockdown its citizenry and cremate bodies 24/7 because of a few hundred deaths.

I'm not personally sold on it being a "distraction" in the usual conspiratorial sense of the world, but from early on on this situation, it has been pretty clear that there are details being held back from the public. I think that's why every theory starts to have holes - we don't really know the whole situation, nor are we likely to.

Perhaps it's only fatal with specific co-morbidities, underlying conditions.
