P13315 The last place you want to be is here in Malta. A couple of rocks smaller than the Isle of Wight (smaller than the city of Tucson for Americans), but with almost 500K crammed on them. Totally dependent on food imports and with a shity water and electricity supply at the best of times. Things will get brutal here pretty quick if they restrict air travel and shipping. Don't sweat it. Malta survived constant attacks by the Luftwaffe in WW2 whilst cut off....the Royal Navy finally lifted the seige and will once again come to the rescue. Oh hang on a minute Malta now swears its allegiance to the EU. Best of luck. During WW2 Malta had about a third of the population and had much more agriculture. Why would we get help from ANYONE? The problem is EVERYWHERE will be dealing with this. Yep. A. Malta just had a couple repatriate from one of the affected cruise ships. B. It's not a sustainable island. It's over populated and barely produces a fraction of its own food and supplies (not even getting into the current electricity issues). It's a great place to visit normally, but it's not a great place to get stuck during a crisis. I don't know what lies they told you, but I can promise they were lies. There's a fine line between training, trauma, and torture. |

It is extremely likely that the true death rate is at least 30-50%, and may be as high as 98%. They're also waiting until their citizens see the horror up close and personal, because then the citizens will be scared enough to voluntarily call for draconian control measures...which might actually be one of the underlying strategic reasons for why this bioweapon was released. May be as high as 98%?! When entire age groups appear immune from deadly complications, except for a very few outliers who might have had pre-existing conditions for all we know. Hogwash! |
