As you walk in the primary entrance there is a whole wall display in the entry aisle with bleach, sanitary wipes, cleaners with bleach, sanitary wipes, Dawn, and glass cleaners. I would attribute it to simply spring cleaning, but there was just such a percentage of products with bleach and what would be used to combat Corona virus. |

Chop up about a handful of ginger and half a handful of garlic. Boil it in water for a good thirty minutes. Let the water cool and then drink the water. Thank you for the advice. Shops are shut here till 10am tomorrow so will send wife to get the ingredients as suggested. Am now wondering if I should tell people I work with as was on night duty thursday/friday....worried some might freak out. P13315 That's a good idea. Am just on the phone to 111. Feel pretty spooked now. Finally managed to get through to the call handler who triaged me over the phone, she sounded flustered and rushed, I could also hear the other operators/phones ringing and it sounded like complete bedlam in there. I asked if they had many other calls about concerns of exposure and she said she couldn't discuss that. I have been advised to self isolate for 14 days and to call back if symptoms worsen. I fear this is standard advice being given across the board and I reckon there could be thousands of daily callers going off what I heard in the background. I guess I'm going to have to just try and ride this one out and hope all hell doesn't brake loose in the UK over the coming weeks. Thanks for the updates, glad you at least called, doesn't sound like it was all too helpful though. I wish you and your girl the best. Thank you. And thanks to all who have offered me advice over the last hour it's really help reassure me. Am sure theres many more cases like mine regarding symptoms although it appears my case was specifically self inflicted due to my stupidity. |

Thanks for the update, and let's all hope you come out of this okay. Maybe one way to help put your mind at ease is to drive past the restaurant and see if it's still open. If it is, that might be a sign that the employees are okay, and it wasn't deemed to be a big concern. I mention the employees because if one of them tested positive, this would likely result in the closure of the restaurant. It would probably the same if lots of customers came down sick. Take care of yourself. Great idea about driving by restaurant....If thats not possible, call them up to see if they are accepting takeaway orders |
