New daily record in Brazil with 133 dead and 2,210 infected

Brazil today recorded a new daily record with 133 deaths and 2,210 infected by the new coronavirus in the last 24 hours, now totaling 800 deaths, the Brazilian Ministry of Health reported today.

In addition to the 800 fatalities, Brazil now has 15,927 confirmed cases of infection by Covid-19. In relation to Tuesday, when the South American country registered 114 deaths, there was a daily increase of 20%. As for those infected, the increase was 16% today compared to the previous day, when 1,661 new infections were registered.

According to the tutelage of Health, Brazil now occupies the 12th position in the countries with the highest number of deaths, is the 14th with the most confirmed cases and is in 8th place in lethality rate.
