It's not really news either. Trump mentioned this same basic thing when he was talking about how the lies by the WHO as they covered for China created a 20x larger problem for the rest of the world than it would have been had the WHO been honest in their reporting of what was going on and the numbers.

On a side note, has anyone here seen any charts or projections indicating the percentages of the population in each county that have likely already been exposed to the coronavirus as a result of the first wave? I can't imagine the number is that high. I would be surprised if many states within the US are even higher than 10%, so we still have quite a ways to go in order to get through this without overwhelming the medical system. I am a bit unnerved by the stories about temporary hospitals being taken down already, because they "didn't end up being needed".

The second wave could have a lot higher numbers of sick if officials make even a small mistake in terms of how much they raise restrictions and allow interaction again. Hopefully we don't regret taking those temporary facilities down so soon.

The Singapore Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday that 334 new cases of infection with the new coronavirus were registered, none of which were imported from another country. The second wave of infections continues to grow in this nation, with several outbreaks of Covid-19 already identified by health authorities.
