Although that sounds like not such a big deal, joint replacement surgery is considered "elective". My father needs a new hip, his surgery was going to be in May but now it's likely to be in the fall. He's getting pretty bad now. There's a pretty good chance he's going to end up in a wheelchair, which will likely lead to his death. Same thing happened to his brother, once he couldn't walk he just gave up and faded away. Hugs and prayers. I was hoping they would get him in. This doesn’t end well for so many souls. |

The day Kennedy got shot, he threw his back out picking up a generator... somebody came running in saying the President was shot and he twisted around rupturing several disks in his back. He kept working for 50 years after that day, in constant pain. The technology finally was available to fix his back a few years ago which really helped, but a year later his hip shit the bed. Never had much luck health-wise, he's had a quadruple bypass and a knee replacement too. For the amount of years he's given his life to others, I just want him to have a chance to enjoy a few more pain free years of retirement before he gets too old to make the best of it. Best of health to your dad. My Grandmother broke her hips at least three times. Every time I got her back up on her feet again when the doctors said she's be bedridden the rest of her life. It's tough and very painful, but one can never stop moving! Lots of cooked bone broth, milk products and jello as well. If any foreign minister begins to defend to the death a "peace conference," you can be sure his government has already placed its orders for new battleships and aeroplanes. |
