How many have recovered? I'd like to see the number of people that have recovered at 100% worldwide. Then we can put this "Just a Flu" nonsense to bed.

Dallas and Houston could start running out of hospital space in that time window, so that's probably what they are referring to. Scaling up beds is possible to a degree but getting qualified staffing in is a real problem. The simultaneous increases in hospitalized and cases is troublesome, especially considering that the percentage testing positive seems to be stubbornly high.

If you get the chance, some good questions to ask would be: if there is the ability to further scale up testing if needed and if there is a form of contact tracing in place to test potential exposures and if there is compliance with such requests to be tested.

I believe hospitalizations is a better indicator than death rate...over capacity ICU's lead to more deaths.

Texas has record breaking hospitalizations almost every day this week. Some counties are at 70% capacity.
