in wave 1,we did lose some iimportant workers and had threats of others. in wave 2, we should have many more quit. i think medical ppl won't b so quick to volunteer to save cities either.the infection of the meat plants should spread some fear. add in the reality that we will have less equipment and PPE for wave 2.

if we do get an explosion of cases,we being national not just the spikes u other states are seeing, i expect we will b less prepared and have more workers quit. that is not just medical workers but cashiers and support staffs.

I can only answer for my area of NYS (Long Island). Mostly everyone wears some kind of face covering and most supermarkets and gas stations have sanitizer at the entrances. Restaurants are not open yet for inside dining but most have sanitizer at the pick up stations for to go orders. Temperatures are not taking for customers but most places are taking temperatures of employees

So we'd better get comms in place.

personally, we are in wave 1. it never spread out with the lockdowns. now that it is summer,ppl are traveling more. even local day trips stop in winter.as more state lift restrictions and ppl don't have the sence there is a problem,they travel ffarther and more often.that i blame on the media.the public isn't informed.

am surprised areas didn't get hit harder near me. counties had problems with old age homes but didn't affect the stores.hell haven't seen the 6ft SD enforced.stores didn't limit # of customers.even this close to NYC,life looked to most to b normal with no demon virus running around.

so the popup fires are all wave 1 still. it isn't a water wave spreading from coast top coast.it uis a virus traveling as ppl do. originally that would have been by air.then it goes by delivery drivers or mail carriers, or business travel.after that it is holiday,college students, family visits.several were put on hold and did slow the spread.

it'll jump around from metro to metro city.then spread to smaller cities,and towns. takes time for it to get to rural villages.based on when we locked down here in the US and comparing to CHINA and SK hitting wave 2,we have til Sept. will we survive that long or end up like ITALY? plus add in Mexico cases coming across the border.

The way I look at it may be different from others. I see most of the rioters and Memorial Party crowd as being younger and less likely to experience serious symptoms that inspire them to get tested. So say they have the 14 day incubation period before symptoms appear...Then give an additional 14 days for those who have weaker immune systems to manifest symptoms that cause them to get tested. So you'd have 28 days from Memorial Day and 28 days from the initial riots to see spikes associated with both of those.

If the "experts" would simply be honest and not strive to capitalize off their pharmaceutical ploys, humanity in general would stand a better chance.

economically the country,states,and local gover's are screwed.2 of those can not print $$. the local govern has already pointed to corruption by the states and demanding help.that is why we started tom open up. so the state can claim "hey u got sales tax good luck." the local govern has issues with state b4 this mess. they are dictated to by the governor what to do and they do not have enuf $$ to do it.

do not see how any business can stay afloat if they are handicapped by how much product they can move. b it the lack of $$ so ppl aren't buying or the SD forcing them to operate at limited %.bills are the same,lights,rent, workers,etc. taking loses. the kick the can down the road worked for the govern but i doubt it can for average business or the workers.
