When I worked with the homeless, I'd strip and head straight for the showers after work. There's always been more out there than just CoV.

When I'm in public in my scrubs people look at me differently if I DON'T have my mask on. If I'm in regular clothes without a mask they don't even blink an eye. The psychological impact this is having on people is fascinating to watch.

I agree, but they need money. Risk/reward analysis, I guess. Hello, everyone!

The US Navy has issued an order that all service members, family members, contractors, etc. are basically under strict lockdown, regardless of what the current state or local law happens to be.

By strict lockdown, I mean we are not allowed to do anything on or off base that is not essential. No bars, restaurants, public beaches, pools, gyms, barbers, salons, shopping malls, movies, large gatherings, etc. The list contains everything you could possibly imagine. We are limited to work, groceries, pharmacy, child care, etc. Masks must be worn in those situations and social distancing must be adhered to.

The order is enforceable under the USCMJ (United States Code of Military Justice). I have no idea how strictly they intend to enforce it.

The order just came down last night. I'll post a link when it gets reported.

So much for that large public gathering I wanted to attend! ;)

I would say 99% of the time you see hospital workers in scrubs is because they are running errands before their shift. After their shift they are going straight home and stripping down in their driveway.

I am in Texas and now personally know 26 different people who have had this all in the last 4 weeks. None had it the same way. Some had fever some did not. Some had stomach issues some just had headache and aches and chills and some had cough and fever while some had stomach issues. Most lost taste of smell and taste. However, NONE of them was that sick. None were sick for more than 2-5 days. Some tested positive and the only symptom they ever had was the loss of taste and smell. Now that a lot of Texans see not many are getting that sick nobody is taking precautions. People are put in large numbers, going to bars, water parks, large gatherings, malls etc. nobody will slow down and no way they can lock us down again. If they try we willl just say we are gathering as a “ peaceful protest”.

Yup. We don't want to wear dirty scrubs longer than anyone else would!

Arizona was specifically named as sending sick people to Colorado via helicopters.

Obviously I can't name a source, but it is credible.

It really would help explain why California and Arizona's (and maybe even Texas) numbers have gone up so fast.....right at the same time Mexico has gone exponential.

It leaves a question mark, however, for New Mexico. Maybe Road Runner can comment on that.

When you know a 1000 or 10,000 people across a wide age range and nobody has to go to hospital or dies, that would be a more realistic assessment.
