I’m very surprised there hasn’t been an uptick in numbers since the last heatwave/VE Day/protests. It doesn’t really make sense that we haven’t seen any increases or local lockdowns when it’s happening in other countries that have loosened their restrictions. Someone earlier mentioned noting things for history...when we look back on the uk it will seem, from the rules that have been put in place, that we had quite a strict lockdown. When in fact, as there has been so little enforcement, many people have been going about life pretty much as normal most of the time! I can’t speak for the cities but out here most people have been mask and glove free, mixing with friends and family, having a lovely lazy summer. It’s crazy! |

I have long said the "zombie apocalypse" won't be the undead rising from the grave (this is stupid as the body has already decomposed) It will be something affecting the brain, in a sort of parasitic "toxiplasmosis" way, shutting down the higher cognitive reasoning facilities and inflaming the more feral lower function part of the brain, causing a sort of mindless violent zombie action (but still human, no bs like only a head shot will kill them, they injure and die like any human) I found the toxiplasmosis comparison thread very interesting too. We'll watch and see how it plays out. When I first brought this up long long ago as an AC on this thread most posters made fun of my observation. Now we’ve all seen it play out. I did not make fun of you... but I still don’t think it’s parasties. I just think it is a bitch of a virus that triggers our bodies to do some damn dumb things.... So our bodies act like there is a parasite. Take my ankle... it’s fucking swollen... the tendon is nasty swollen and burns. However there is NO cause other than an injury from two years ago. But now.... my body freaks out... So yeah, I agree it looks like parasites, but I still think it’s not parasites. :) Talking bout way, way before that. Talking about the neurological effects in the very beginning of the spitters and lickers in China - before anyone else was speaking of them as being neurological symptoms. I still don’t think you understand what I was saying on parasites more lately, though. The concept not that parasites are causing anything per se but that the covid19 could hide in a person’s preexisting parasites to avoid detection. Gotta go outside now and enjoy life. |
