If they don't get all the way back to the nasopharynx then the test could be negative because he/she didn't get to the desired sample area. Ask him if they touched the back of his throat through his nose to get a good indication of the swab was done correctly. Here's a crazy thought. Rather than sticking a long qtip back there and relying on a test to tell you if you have it ... Why not have a good stiff drink of distilled spirits and let the vapors go back up in there, and/or use a netipot to flush up in there, and KILL IT? Not strong enough nor hot enough for long enough.... you would DESTROY yourself. |
