I think it is hit and miss. California probably has more JIT than MA and IA, regarding non-perishables, because we have long winters. And can’t count on things coming from the outside.

As of yesterday's numbers, Spain is back to the same amount of official cases they were at two days before they entered lockdown.

However, right before tourist season hit, Spain came up with a "new way of counting" that significantly lowered numbers (by around ten fold) in time to open for summer.

...Meaning that today's numbers are probably ten fold what they were two days before we went into lockdown.

I don't honestly know what they're going to do because the economy and all of those vacations are on the line (and the economy depends on tourist dollars majorly).

I do know they're starting to implement masks in all situations, going one region of Spain at a time. And they're talking about "strategical lockdowns" (buildings, towns, etc) but it's doubtful that will work.

On top of that, they're talking about opening the schools in a month and then quarantining entire classrooms or closing entire schools as soon as students in those schools test positive. That seems about the worst way possible to do anything other than ensure spread.

Anyway, that's where we're at over here. It's a mess, just like everywhere.
