And inflammation suppression makes a lot of sense given the acute symptoms but to my understand it's mostly symptom relieve, it should not impact the 'life-cycle' of the virus/infection itself. So you'll feel better and mildly symptomatic people might not get as problematic but if it progresses and more severe symptoms do present I don't see how it would impact the severity there. To my understanding it's pretty standard to use steroids with pneumonia as well right? Vaid Status: It's a small world after all! |

I have given steroids through an inhaler, but it's often ordered separately than the routine meds. People suck. |

You so deserve it for all you have been going through... Thank you for advice...I had to force myself to take the pill this evening but I did and I hope I am over the worst of it... Hubby had a slight fever Wednesday morning, but it broke and he seems okay....so yeah, I guess Covid works in mysterious ways...I don’t know if my sore throat was due to strep or Covid...years past I had strep in August...one of many, many times, and this felt the same to me...but the doxycycline hit me harder than anything else I have ever taken...so I don’t know...I’m still here, enjoying Wordsie’s music and hoping our friends return here...
