Pausing the data on fatalities in the same way they 'paused' the data on testing. Or just not bothering any more. This is cynically taking a concern and using it as an excuse not to report. Herding the sheep.

I really don't get Boris and Sunak's stance right now. I get they are trying to make people comfortable to go out but I think theres two big issues right now:

- 'Normality by Christmas'; this is just another case of the governments obsession with announcing 'good news'. Its totally baseless and just undermines the governments own messaging. Personally I think we should lockdown over Christmas and New Year and tell people to travel and stay in one household; travelling around could be a disaster.

- 'Return to the Office'; its not happening. Cities are dead. We need a scheme to help businesses move and get builders to start converting office space into residential space.

I just don't think they get how big a change there has been. Drops in productivity of test and trace is worrying as well, again suggests they've been playing with the figures.

The most recent policy decisions smack of panic to me. The restaurant vouchers. Pointless. The CJRS bonus for people still employed in January won't save jobs but will direct cash straight into shareholders pockets.

Anything you see from now on isn't the result of coherent policy but desperation. They will obscure, hide and manipulate. The limited truth we were getting is gone now.

Actual no of cases in city is mystery as government negligence in testing and tracing

The UK government is now desperately trying to deal with the fallout from the law of unintended consequences. I totally agree with them reviewing the death data though, and thank goodness we have some scientists with enough integrity to point out that the way deaths from Covid have been reported up to now is misleading and inflating the number of deaths probably drastically.

How do you reconcile this theory with the ONS data on excess deaths? The evidence is clear that many more people have died than would do in any other given year?

My opinion, and only my opinion, is that they review of deaths data is just an attempt to gaslight the UK public into believing things are better than they actually are.

So much wasted time and resources in the wrong direction : saving the economy.


The governments are in denial stage, they think the economy can be saved, if they avoid lock-downs.


Sadly, the economy cannot be saved, and it will be even worse affected and longer recovery if no lock-downs.



The results of avoiding lock-downs will be heavily felt, by October, and collapsing quickly after October, on both fronts : medical and economic.

October is going to be when the rubber meets the road.

Expect a royal shitshow deluxe from that point forward.

The person pushing the doctor that says symbicort is a cure? No. It is a treatment. It does NOT stop the virus from moving to other parts of the body. And we have no data on their lung function at three months yet. So yes. That’s great there is another treatment.

To the folks that think the official numbers matter.... no. We are officially past numbers mattering because no one is playing fair with them. The important things are obits, increased “accidents “ of all kinds, increased altered mental states, gathering 911 information.... this is how you get real information.

Covid domino effect I can see happening.

Stricter regulations on homeschool. Tx is one of the best as far as homeschool laws. It is considered a private school.

There is an explosion in numbers of homeschoolers for the coming school year at least in my area. I don't blame them, but I see there may be consequences. Schools are not going to be happy to lose money. I suspect that there will be a push for stricter regulations.
