The answer lies between the two of you. It has been tested in people and is safe. It also elicits an immune response so we are way beyond petri dishes.

However they havent evaluated if this elicited immune response actually stops covid-19 and until they complete the phase 3 trial we wont find out.

These are promising results but still early ones. This is the issue with science being reported to the masses; they dont understand it and so all you achieve is creating confusion and hysteria

So, earlier this summer, we had received emails from Gwinnett County schools here in Georgia, which is where my son goes to school. He starts 6th grade next month, which is the start of middle school. They had given us the option to elect for "in person" school or to continue with digital learning. Due to the situation, we decided to continue with digital. So, this morning, we got a robocall from the county announcing that, due to the situation deteriorating, they have decided to go all digital.

We are pleased with this decision, especially for my son's situation. He is a social kid and wanted to be able to go to school and see his friends, but he was also mature enough to understand that this was the safest and best option. At least this way, he won't be feeling like he is "missing out" on anything.

Florida reported 90 deaths associated with the COVID-19 novel coronavirus Monday.

The 90 new COVID-19 deaths Monday increased the state's cumulative total to 5,072. In the past seven days, Florida has verified 795 resident deaths related to COVID-19.

The Florida Department of Health also reported 10,347 new COVID-19 cases Monday, increasing the state's total to 360,394.

They are still trying to do 50% in person, in Iowa. My heart hurts, but hoping many pediatricians step in with notes because this is ridiculous.

Florida.... where the weather is to nice to stay home. And they can’t say no to tourist dollars.

Hospitalized Currently in FL is up from 9334 y/d to 9436 and in PB up from 606 to 623. PB weekly cases is down from ~5100 to 4758. It's hard to make conclusions on these metrics for the time being - cases due to testing delay and Hospitalized Currently because I have less then two weeks of historical reference. But the acceleration in growth seems to have stopped and early indications point to a slight decline. Very cautiously optimistic about Florida for the short term.

Y'all ain't using y'all peepers....It's just a glimmer of hope, maybe something, more likely nothing...
