Is it not interesting that before SARS and MERS .... the only corono-viruses around were harmless stuff with minor flu like symptoms.
So this is the 3rd case of a corona virus turning deadly within a few years.
Even though they are longer around than humanity.
That is some pretty quick development ..the question imho is did somebody help a bit?

It’s honestly more dangerous to have people walking around with a virus they don’t know they have. It gives it more time to mutate relatively undetected and it’s easier to spread among vulnerable populations like the elderly. Certain strains of the flu do this. They come on like a typical allergy or a slight head cold and before you know it, everybody and their brother has a raging case of the flu because it spread undetected and people didn’t know. Dangerous for an illness that spreads every year and everyone is familiar with. Even more so for a new illness where no one person can be truly certain how it operates or even where it came from.
