I don't want to risk his or my positions, but we are both government employees at reasonably high levels for two European countries, UK and France. We have known and trusted each other for many years.

He knows my personal opinions on many things despite being a govt employee and therefore his call surprised me because I knew right away why he called. He wanted my take on this situation as he is likely getting COG echos on his end.

He is aware of the danger in London and now that there is a confirmed case there is no way to stop the spread within the city.

Here in France we are waiting for the same to happen in Paris particularly however I have no intel on that as of today as our channels are not conveying information.

However the situation will move quickly in the coming days.

First warned will be best prepared to move out.

All any of us can do is prepare as though you already have Corona in your family/house.

Plenty of supplies, easy to cook when you feel horrible or ready to eat meals. Load up on good vitamins. NAC, zinc.
Get some antibiotics QUICK! In case you developed pneumonia.

If you have a huge stash of food, like survivalists do, separate and hide enough for at least one month even if you have to break and repair a wall.
If the supply lines to stores fall apart or we get mandatory stuck inside, the local government might raid homes for supplies and food to create a general distribution for everyone.

Put a note in your window saying you won't answer the door. keep it locked.
Change the note daily with the current date on it so if the date passes unchanged people will know you died.
Get your food and supplies NOW! Stop going out in public .
Stay far away from crowds.
Sanitize your money too.
