G'day World. I have been following this thread from the start and want to thank all that have contributed. First, my heart is sincerely breaking seeing what is happening in Asia and I truly wish the best for everyone. My biggest concern about this is the reporting of animal transmission. I have some seriously dark questions and I confess the reality of what is going down hit me a few days ago. Still have the hangover to prove it. I had to stop, have a deep breath and regroup. I am a 55 year old grandfather that is computer illiterate and not accustomed with using social media. To get my mind off this I created my first Twitter account a few days ago as a distraction to all this doom. More for my mental health and the reason I love GLP. So I warn the trolls, if you come at me, look at my Twitter to see what your messing with. Please could someone link my address when I post it later.
I reside in rural Victoria Australia. My survival plan up to now was to rely on local livestock, mainly sheep and cattle if the SHTF. If this virus does infect animals, but does not kill them and they don't show signs of illness, is it likely to be passed on even after cooking?
IF things really go crazy, and corpse's start piling up. What amount of time should be allowed before attempting to make contact with other survivors?
Will rotting corpse's effect fruit trees? IE- Airborne contamination. What distance would be safe from fruit to deceased?
