They are starting to figure out what I already figured out today riding the subway in NYC. There's no way to avoid exposure. So COVID-19 is our friend. Yep, the brutally simple truth is that the way we live our lives and our society and economies is fundamentally incompatible with trying to contain this virus. The measures needed to stop it will collapse civilisation, no 'ifs or buts.'
