Thanks so much! I made an oatmeal bread several years ago that was delicious but never sourdough.

Whatever I got hit me like a ton of bricks today. I was and am a zombie all day. Didn’t sleep much last night....too cold, then too hot, the too cold....all night. Been peeing like crazy. No appetite. No sneezing today, but coughing. Chest hurts. Low grade fever - @100F. Just miserable all day. On the couch drifting in and out of a weak sleep most of the day, just like a twilight sleep.

Took cold meds today. Another dose just now...to try and sleep. Been pounding the OJ and grapefruit juice, taking loads of Vit C, and drinking lots of water. Mouth still feels dry and there is a dull ache/burn behind my eyes.

Need to kick this thing starting tomorrow...

SEATTLE CASE-EXPERIENCE: (update) My little brother just got out of the clinic in West Seattle. Pissed and disappointed. Get ready, because this is NOT what you want to hear....

His PPE'd-up doctor called CDC during his appointment, they refused to test him because he was otherwise healthy before getting sick with all the symptoms AND working with the infected individual at Century Link Field. They said because he is only 30 years old that he will survive the infection. All despite his symptoms AND close contact with confirmed case. They wont give him a CAT scan of lungs, or perform any other diagnostics to rule out flu, etc.

Word for word the doctor said "lets assume you do have it. We're going to prescribe you the exact same meds we are prescribing people who test positive. Stay away from anybody until you don't show symptoms for 24 hours without medication." Those meds:

Benzonatate - numbs lungs/throat to suppress cough, causes heart arrythmia as side effect
Viscous Lidocaine - numbs throat/mouth pain, normally prescribed in tandem with chemo, and benzonatate
Flonaise - for a sore throat

Fucking cough suppressants and cancer medication. NO antiviral. NO antibiotic. If this is how our WA health department is spending that $110 million to fight this virus then we are fucked. Prescribing these meds to confirmed cases will only mask symptoms and result in further spread of the disease AND probably patient death. It's clear they want this to spread and they want numbers to stay low for PR.

He recorded some of his exam and is debating on posting it to Youtube; which I'll happily share here if/when he does that.

My son had bronchitis a few months ago. He was prescribed benzonatate (Tessalon pearls) for his cough. The cough syrup with codeine works better.

same with the sourdough start ... i bought bleached flour, so I used the rye flour for the start instead ... i just love sourdough rye :)

figured it would be best to start developing these skills soon rather than in the middle of a crisis

never used sprouts but, hey, almost fresh veggies and Vit C
love sourdough and do not want to be running to the store every ~ 3 days, like normal, for fresh bread

oh, made bread in the crock pot, oven element burned out, browned the bread under the broiler ... pretty good for first time if i do say so myself

It IS a weapon and the design is quite special.
It produces rapid death while hiding behind a usually harmless flu-type infection. This was a weapon that was designed to stealthily infiltrate a population as much as it can before finally unleashing its cargo.
To facilitate further spread, the host's bronchi rupture and the diaphragm stops, making the patient's breaths ragged, harsh and full of blood; meaning that they will spray blood everywhere infecting others if they assist.
It spreads via contact, air and blood and can get into food and water too.
