same here...something hit me today..was up 5 am was ok...little while later i started feeling sick...lil sore throat,lil stuffiness in nose,just felt horrible...laid down in chair and slept all day till 8 pm...was worried for a minute cause i went into town last week on final run and did fuel run last night...run er till she blows!! cheers!!

My daughter works in public health in San Francisco, they are doing jack about it to the extent one of the supervisors up and quit to protect herself from the extremely high risk. I am terrified for my kid and all of the young people she works with.

Whatever I got hit me like a ton of bricks today. I was and am a zombie all day. Didn’t sleep much last night....too cold, then too hot, the too cold....all night. Been peeing like crazy. No appetite. No sneezing today, but coughing. Chest hurts. Low grade fever - @100F. Just miserable all day. On the couch drifting in and out of a weak sleep most of the day, just like a twilight sleep.

Took cold meds today. Another dose just now...to try and sleep. Been pounding the OJ and grapefruit juice, taking loads of Vit C, and drinking lots of water. Mouth still feels dry and there is a dull ache/burn behind my eyes.

Need to kick this thing starting tomorrow...

It IS a weapon and the design is quite special.
It produces rapid death while hiding behind a usually harmless flu-type infection. This was a weapon that was designed to stealthily infiltrate a population as much as it can before finally unleashing its cargo.
To facilitate further spread, the host's bronchi rupture and the diaphragm stops, making the patient's breaths ragged, harsh and full of blood; meaning that they will spray blood everywhere infecting others if they assist.
It spreads via contact, air and blood and can get into food and water too.
We don't know exactly how it got out but this is what we've been told. However we do not think this was done intentionally.

Anyone else feeling particularly hopeless about the whole situation tonight?

The news of the last 2 days has been overwhelming.

Also, I am trying to isolate for the next 2 weeks minimum because of my suppressed immune system. But, my husband had to go out today to help my mother with some health problems. I’m doomed...my husband touches everything when he is out, rarely washes his hands. I can’t seem to get through to him; he’s of the “it’s just a bad flu” ideology. He let me prep, but what good is isolation doing me if I’m just going to catch this from him? And it’s not like we can abandon my mother who has ill health, so he has to go out to help her.

I just want this all to be over.
