No more Triage-Mode for Germany

I am calling Triage-Mode-Doom OFF for Germany !

Reasons:
1. The projected exponential numbers are in no way matching with the real numbers, strongly indicating that the phase of exponential growth has now tuned into the phase of a slowly deccelerating growth.
2. The percentage of ICU-patients is very low, less than 3% of cases.
3. The GOV is rapidly expanding the ICU-surge capacity and just decided on other vastly supportive laws, rules and regulations, which will start to be implemented this week.
4. Currently are less than 10% of surge-capacity ICU's occupied.

On 3rd of April, even at a 5% ICU-admittance, the number of ICU-patients will be less than 2000 , far below the projected 10.000 threshold.
Additionally more ICU-beds will become operational within the next weeks.

As of noon on March 25, the Department reported 407 additional cases of COVID-19, bringing the total to 1,795.

Hospitalization
-Yesterday, 271 COVID-19 patients were hospitalized. Of those, 94 patients required ventilation.
-Currently, 491 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized. Of those, 163 patients require ventilation.

As well, 23 of the 65 deaths were under age 60.

The only way to know is to wait and see?

i dont know, im not so certain anymore. i have a fairly large international network of people i keep contact with. NONE of them or their contacts have seen ANYONE going to the hospital with covid.

today is the 1st day when i heard from my friend 3 people in switzerland tested positive but they all told my guy (100% trustworthy) it was nothingburger and they are all fat, terrible shape, work in finance and in their late 40s.

at least SOME of us here on this thread or in my network should have seen ANYTHING out of ordinary ANYWHERE. all we see are anecdotes.

im not disputing the fact that those who require hospitalization are in grave danger. what im not so sure about is the speed of spread and the rate of hospitalization.

i at least give trump a chance he is right with this easter opening. germans are opening already too. china is not on full lockdown either.
