I definitely agree regarding the power grab aspect of this whole fiasco.
Do you agree that there won't be a resurgence / second wave? I can't wrap my head around why Brazil is seeing such number, but here in the US we aren't after basically opening things back up.

It's also hard to believe that we won't see at least a bit of an uptick from where we are now once people really start getting back out into society.
The question is, how much of an uptick... that increased amount of infections might still be less that what we are seeing right now, once all the cases from the initial outbreak work their way to resolution.
If the rebound ends up somewhere around where we are at right now, I think society as a whole would find in manageable to deal with until a vaccine, treatment, or herd immunity is reached... if possible.
Brazil's outbreak started way after the US, just like the US started way after Italy.
But long story long... no I don't think the second wave will manifest.
