Back on to septic. Septic tanks are basically holding tanks, especially the older models. It's raw shit and piss. In older tanks the treatment is bacteria which basically breaks down the poop over time. The water/piss mix generally flows into a drain field.

Now a bar that is being pumped basically everyday over the weekend is filled with extremely fresh crap, if the virus was living (and highly contagious) there would be massive spikes in cases around the treatment plants and water ways. The DNR's and health departments would be flipping out for a multitude of reasons. Yet my neighbor has heard zip. Not even from his friends who actually go into tanks to fix them. No protocols about any of it.
