There's something else going on here. At first I thought it was that other countries were halting exports and China was trying to save face. But this article makes it sound like the other countries still want to export.
Is China (a country that eats disgusting things all the time) really afraid of the meat supply from Brazil and Canada and Germany?
I call BS on this headline, even though I'm not sure why. (Just the headline, not you Finland!)
Or maybe they are out of money already......

(1) They are either covering up for the fact that they can't GET the food they need (because exports are drying up and/or they are out of money) OR (2) They really do have reason to be afraid of the meat supply. It can’t be (1) because the,( was it Danish?), company is not happy about China not taking their meat and they are taking meat from all uninfected plants. If it’s (2) what else could not be disinfected but prions? What is the one thing in the whole wide world that nobody wants to know? That will be the thing that nobody will test for - at least not so it can possibly be made public. Sorry. Face it. Alien Bat AIDS?
