Halo i assume that is 1 reason for sending other med workers home. that is the back up in a full outbreaK.

We are fully prepared to be in the same boat this fall/winter as we were in the winter/spring due to short staffing. Also, states with overflowing ICU's are paying STUPID money for nurses to travel there and do short term contracts. Today I got an email from a place in McAllen, TX needing RN's and paying $92/hr and $142/hr overtime. With all respect to Texas? McAllen is a border town where you're just as likely to get shot be the cartel as you are to make it to work in one piece... So I hear. When stupid money is thrown around like that, there's a good reason! The less desirable the job and/or location during times of stress the higher the pay. Law of supply and demand.
