The numbers were still revised upwards, even after the correction. If you were intentionally going to fake data, why not make it go down? Why would they fake data to make it go up?

And if you're going to fake data, why fake it just a bit less a couple of days later resulting in major news reports that draw a fuckton of attention you your fuckery?

There's hundreds of hospitals attempting to sync numbers with a central database probably using scripts written by dozens of different IT contractors, on a schedule much shorter than usual and in the middle of a pandemic. Mistakes are going to be made.

I am totally confused. The worldometer says that yesterday there were 252 deaths in Florida.

When I go to our Florida Dept of Health covid website it lists 27 "resident deaths". All of the other stats are pretty close when you add in non residents such as the total cases, both the same on Fla site and worldometer.

So... out of 252 deaths reported yesterday I am taking that to mean only 27 were actual Florida residents and the rest were tourists.

That is good news for me since I live here and wish the tourists would stay the fuck home, but it doesnt negate the fact that all those tourists are sleeping and eating somewhere, possibly giving it to the servers and other patrons which are also probably largely tourists.

Whats your take?? Click on the bottom right bar chart, each one is a date, the last one being yesterday and it gives the amount of resident deaths for the state.

Minnesota cases are for the most part flat. As much as I would like to blame the second wave on the protests, it doesn't look like they made a big impact.

Still waiting for the apology from the Governor of Michigan regarding the lockdown protests.

Well where is worldometer getting its info from? I thought it was from the states.

This is an unprecedented experience perhaps. For sure we haven't experienced this amount of pandemic activity with regards to testing and quarantines.

The danger or concern is having to evacuate to a shelter where people could potentially be mixed together - infected and non-infected. They will for sure try to avoid that but due to no testing and shelters being open for a week or more depending on storm intensity it's a real possibility.

The other concern is deciding not to evacuate for ^^ those reasons and getting slammered in your home.

Worldometer for florida is straight from the state website, correct.

I was just about to say that in Miami-Dade county or any other county along the coast from Miami to Boston, depending on Isaias, the aftermath could be bad, really bad with increased covid spread from what I mentioned above.

Just now North Carolina's Governor just said that going to an emergency shelter should maybe be the 3rd choice after family or friends and hotel.

It's concievable, based on this weekends experience that FEMA or someone may be forced to pony up hotel money for evacuees in future hurricanes in an attempt to keep an already fragile economy from completely collapsing.

just a thought. being kids are small ppl maybe lower virus load= bigger hit and then they are more apt to b spreaders. how many might b infected running around now that nobody sees?guess we wait n see.

Only that they dont get seriously ill ( with some few exceptions) and that they are far less infectious to others than are adults

Yes!! I just emailed my farmer for friends to see if they are still taking orders for sides of beef...they are but said the earliest would be the beginning of next year!!! Cuz the local processor is swamped.

Kids are not super spreaders. In fact they are far less infectious than adults. Based on studies so far. Numerous studies posted uplink.
