Hi all...long time no see.

Took a long doom break after the first wave in March/April.

We were virus as a country by May and have been enjoying our summer carefree.

But them fukers decided to open up the borders on June 15th to the Schengen area only while Icelandic nationals could enter the country from where ever, including the U.S. Border testing was set up and required for those entering.

But infections kept slipping through. People tested negative at the border only to test positive a few days later. Something to be expected. We had a few such isolated cases that were quickly surpressed.

But...as of now we have officially entered a second wave. Infections gone from 10 to 50 in a couple of days, all over the country among people who have had no contact.
Unlike last spring, we don't know the source of entry making contact tracing impossible and will thus surely be seeing a worse wave this time around.
