I wouldn’t but years ago I bought some Tattler lids which are reusable. I have never tried them. Have you checked ULINE for jars? Also my local Ace Hardware has carried them in the past, maybe a possibility for you

I can't find canning jars for the second week in a row. Last weekend all I could get ahold of were half pints. My husband is going to get some hay and lumber today and see if those places happen to have any. Later today I'm going to the grocery store. If I see anything selling out I'll make a note of it and check back.

I hadn't seen any in a long time either, but I went to Meier last night for some other things. I WAS looking for another canister type for bread flour, but I found 4 cases of pint and I case of quart jars. No extra lids though. They were pushed WAY back on the shelf, almost hiding, on the discount aisle. Might want to take a look through that area if your store has one. Mine weren't marked down, but at least they were this years "normal" price.
