Yes. No restrictions are going to be made on the American people prior to the election because winning that election is more important than promoting the general welfare. Why even have them take the oath of office? We know they're not going to abide by it.

I have two possible trains of thought on after the election, depending on who wins:

A: Serious restrictions start being implemented after the election, because it's over and the people can't vote again for two more years.

B: No restrictions at all will be implemented so as to sabotage the new incoming administration by giving them an overwhelming national crisis right out the gate.
