Just so this is clear in all this confusion. I'm not anti Vax. My standards to get a vaccine are literally it kills 1/10 vs 1.1/10 go for it. That said those are never the odds. We face long term effects vs. short term, Infected vs infectius and all sorts of arbitrary limits. Even if they were getting a vac would/could only really matters in hingsight when somebody dies.

Vaccines are designed to greatly limit the impact of infetions on the population. When given at scale it's normal to see side effects in some of the recipients. Overall seeing a adverse reaction as medically defined is almost preferable because it confirms that there is a reaction.

When the disease goes away, the apparent choice becomes a lot harder. Is the side effect of the jab (medical induced side effect of vac) worth it for you. The answer is rather simple. We vaccinate against the stuff that made most people die before age 10 a century ago. If you think your kid is special and doesn't need a jab, don't put them in a school with other people.

Your kid not having a mild side effect from a vaccine might cause another kid to die from a disease your simple minded stance allowed to spread again. And it's not a few kids. ~50%+ died of things that are nothing now.

I agree. Lest we forget, the death toll from the 1918 flu pandemic is typically estimated to have been somewhere between 17 million and 50 million, and possibly as high as 100 million, making it one of the deadliest pandemics in human history. In addition, it came in four waves and the worlds population was considerably smaller.

Please verify you're human:
