Good news guys, Covid is going to go away completely from 22nd December, returning on 28th December, there will be no risk whatsoever if you do everything you want during those days. This is what we haven't been allowed to do so far but its ok to do it over Christmas.Shame that Covid doesn't seem willing to go away for a few more days so that we can have New Year's Eve parties.

Ministers are said to be thrashing out plans to free the country from lockdown shackles for a few days and allow family 'bubbles' to gather indoors for festive celebrations.

Several families could be permitted to join a 'bubble' and to mix between December 22 and 28, the Daily Telegraph reported.

A safe Christmas get-together is feasible if all participants have isolated themselves beforehand, but either way it's going to be risky.

My daughters at University, I am drawing up a plan to safely get her home for Christmas.

I'm currently working in the covid testing centres, so I am also a risk to my daughter as well.

Oh well, happy days....xmas

Yes, but how many will have isolated themselves beforehand? How many will actually stick to this new bubble plan and how many will do whatever they please?

January will be very interesting.

In other news, my scan on my broken arm showed it hasn't set properly but as I'm in no pain and I can move it without any problems, i'm inclined to leave it.

Agreed, I'm not overly optimistic that the Brits will follow the rules or self isolate to prevent a Christmas Day catastrophe!

Best advice if we can't isolate, at least social distance the best we can, social distancing does work.

Hope the arm sorts it's self out hf
