FUCK. ME.
Just got notified that I was exposed to Covid by a police officer. He has tested positive and is symptomatic (lost his sense of taste last night, headaches, fatigue, sinus pressure).
He and I were hanging out together at a local gas station Tuesday morning. I had my mask on most of the time, but did take it off a few times to drink a soda.

You may want to wait a few days lest you get a false negative. I was wearing a properly fit-tested P100 (OSHA-trained on respirator fit testing). He was the same as me, his mask was on and off depending on when he was taking a drink. Exposure would have been this past Tuesday or Wednesday.
