from what i have heard out of PA the last week, the hospitals are way ill-informed what is coming. the main hospital said they were ready but had 5% capacity of ICU. that is the main trauma hospital for this area.

haven't loked to the farther county #'s but there is a storm raging along the PA-NY border moving west.county to my south dang near matches my home county now in case count.before turkey wkend and hunting season.

everyone seems to b grabbing at straws and any hope they can dig up. we ain't even at the climax of this movie yet. hell this is just the 1st half hour.

I know Jazz. It took me forever to catch up tonight and I hear what you're saying, but at the same time, it makes me really sad.

Growing up, my dad had a thing for us kids trying to have the last word. I won't even try to explain my dad. I'm not sure I could. We may have been in trouble to start with, but when he decided talking was done, it was done. We really got it if we tried to get in the "last word". Of course, being his children, we had to try! LOL

I think there is some of that happening on both sides, but I have noticed there are some that are just itching to get into a fight with CC. Many think she has it easy, staying home, but I know it's not. Because of her son's health issues, it's what she has to do. And she should! That's being a good mother. People don't hear that.

I like to read the posts from the other countries, too. It makes me realize we're not alone with this thing. It's too easy to forget that others are suffering maybe even more than we are. I liked reading many of the other good "voices" today, too.

I'm not after anyone's behind with my other post. It's just CC is my friend and she really is a good person. I would hope if it were me in her shoes, someone would stand up for me, too. That's all.

Have lived in the Riverside So Cal Area for a long time. In the 3 decades here, haven't seen an outbreak of this magnitude ever on the wild donkeys we have. I can't help but wonder if covid is playing into this somehow and making things worse. Doubtful every sick/dead/dying donkey is tested for 'equine influenza virus'. So sick of stinking viruses.

Not to forget that Riverside County now has 80,011 covid cases as of today, 11/23/20.

I missed some of the drama early on, and regarding what I did see, I hated seeing people snipe at one another. CC is absolutely NOT a bot (and neither am I, though HNRY called me one, too, a while back.) She has been needlessly harangued by a bunch of angry people (or a couple of people posing as several) who seem to enjoy picking on her. I've reported those posts on a number of occasions, though it never seems to derail it for long.

I have a couple of people on ignore, too, so I may have missed some of what went down. I did see Pillar having a very hard time, and lashing out here.

We're all exhausted, worn down by the pandemic, and politics, and impending (or expanding) financial doom ... I guess this was bound to happen.

That youtube video a few posts back was really powerful ... thanks for posting it.

There are people making videos saying that after they got better from covid-19, they have never gotten their period back...its a lot of women and some said 8 months and drs don't know why.havent heard it mentioned here but that's disturbing

Actually, CC's been talking about fertility issues for quite some time. She said people could become sterile after "recovering" from covid. She was hoping to find more research on it, but it seems no one is looking at it. Just another long haul surprise, I guess.

There's still a lot of sexism online, and of course in the world in general.

She did like to argue and give as good as she got. Some men dont like being called out by women.
