Thought I would pop in and comment so you guys know I am still kickin'.

My observations in my area South of Houston:

1. Bars and restaurants open and sometimes packed. Lots of potential for spreading.

2. Almost ALL of my older family members including The Queen and I are staying in isolation. For example, we have called off large Thanksgiving and Christmas get togethers. We understand the risk and are remaining prudent.

None of the older folks plan on taking a vaccine until it has been well proven.

3. Half of the grand kids in home school and half in public school, but NONE appear to be infected yet. Nor their parents.

4. Mask wearing in public about 90% compliance but with sloppy technique.

Conclusion: Virus still spreading but some of the most vulnerable are avoiding infection. This state of affairs could continue for months or even years.

I still worry about long term damage from the virus. We will not know for months or years how bad it really is.

Of course, I will be very happy if we get it under control.

Oh, Wordsie and Riff, I would bet a few bucks that Biden will end up losing. I have faith in our system of law and justice not to mention the American people.

I mentioned on other threads, I have a lot of experience working elections as an Election Judge, Alternate Judge, and Poll Watcher. I saw and reported fraud in EVERY election that I ever observed. Its pervasive. Guess which party employed it?

This time, we are in the 21st century where every email, text, and bank transfer is on electronic media. I think the evidence is there.

Call me an optimist. Justice will prevail.
