A man in the comments section on tik tok works in a lab. He said he tested a peach using PCR test and it came back positive
Quoting: Trump wins this!!!!!!!!! One of three possibilities: 1: The PCR test was contaminated by the technician or some other covid-positive person handling the sample. 2: The PCR test itself was defective from the OEM. 3: Uncle Doom was right and it's gotten into our food supply, in which case it's been nice knowing all of you. They need to repeat that test multiple times using different testing techniques to prove #3. Could just be leftover genetic code from someone. We already see cases where people continue to shed the virus, but it's no longer contagious. A recent study shows no contagious virus being expelled after 9 days. So, in theory, they could be picking up a piece of the genetic code that is on a surface. However, they should be doing it in a sterile area.
