I agree religion is an issue. But having faith in a deity is everyone’s choice. Or not. That’s freewill.

But as a society.... that need for a basic moral and ethical code.... it was a decent foundation until well..... greed and the modern house of cards got toooooooo big.

We keep failing.... in the modern world because folks don’t want to take responsibility for themselves and those around them.... plus the dumbing down and the need to be a viral star....

Thanks Bodiless! You answered my question. I knew switching OP's wasn't possible in the past. I just didn't know if it was still the case. It had come up in PM conversations and LJS was dealing with the winter storm mess. I thought I'd ask this way as I've seen others wonder about it too.

We know you guys work really hard. I sure wouldn't want y'all's job! We thought it would be easier all the way around if we could switch. We would get clean-up faster and y'all wouldn't have to deal with it as much.

My point was that your use of the phrase "statistically insignificant" is repugnant. 2,977 deaths and Americans were out for blood and revenge and they didn't care how they got it. 330,000 dead 20 years later and Americans are, "Meh, they were old or fat anyway. Good riddance."

Each one of those deaths was extremely significant to dozens of family members, friends, and coworkers. If each death deeply affected a dozen people, you're looking at almost 4 million people emotionally, psychologically, and financially impacted by those deaths. Is that still statistically insignificant to you, you mewling, clay-brained lout?

Here's one for you: If every American was killed in some kind of national cataclysm that was restricted within our borders somehow, 96% of the world population would survive. Sounds statistically insignificant to me by your definitions.

The thing of it is, Christians who wholeheartedly believe in their god and who claim to pray to their god every day will nevertheless be the first ones to have you committed for a psych evaluation if you come along and say that not only do you talk to their god, he talks back to you.

Happened all the time in the Bible. The biblical god would have extensive conversations with people out of nowhere, and that was considered normal back then. Now, here we are ~6,000 years later, and if you're having a two-way conversation with god, you end up on a no-fly list and a prescription for thorazine.

I’ve just checked the trends on worldometer for daily c19 or should I now say c21 covid infections, ive been through basically all top 30 countries and bar the few here and there, they are all showing simultaneously a trend up.

What I am seeing is the earliest sign. Maybe a day into it even. Like I say I’m not a maths expert with this, just into the patterns. So clearly czech fulfilled what we have anticipated, now leading the way. And now I feel confident enough to say (well I did already) that the world is trailing behind czech by a varying matter of weeks.

I just wanted to mention this. I’ve been waiting for the figures overall to bottom out, then stagnate, then gradually show a rising trend which develops into a steep curve. This was the changeover of the mutations. So the steep curve will happen in March for most I imagine. I was slightly excited to see this for lack of a better term, as it shows we are seeing this right and on track, certainly with the outlook for our period of before summer. Forget May, this period justifies the need to be ready and mindful of in itself. Whatever you think of the virus? I can tell you measures will be put in place to deal with this that are a step up.

So what I’m going to do, is wait til late next week, the trends should show a more obvious trend or noticeable trend upward, I will then take screen shots of all the graphs of 30 odd countries and post the images in a sequence here to illustrate that we will be going into the fourth wave.

So just to clarify. This wave could be up to (according to some sources) 90% more deadly off the bat (before a potentially full hospital system/with less or no facilities). Some sources may claim the Brazilian variant is worse than that. It can be up to 70% more contagious, evade vaccines (or is that just the excuse as to how it will appear and also be so high), plus we have a handful of mutations, some can coinfect/combine, some can evade testing (as I posted above with the Finnish variant). This can also go exponential under current measures and can only be dealt with using an Asian lockdown (which I believe won’t be wound down after). Very strict measures then paving the way for the beast system and a domino effect in various areas. Heads up!
