I have never heard of this USA brand before. I was looking for a replacement to my Thrunite TN12 which died on me and I discovered it only has a 2 year warranty, which has expired. So I would have to ship it to and from China at my expense. The Elzetta comes with a "lifetime warranty". Rechargeable 123a are available and I believe they are more powerful?... The one I was looking at is 1350 lumens using three CR123 batteries... [link to elzetta.com (secure)] The standard 7/8-inch thick optical lens provides phenomenal beam quality and scoffs at abuse that would shatter any cover-lens found on a reflector-based flashlight.
