I don’t drink my well water even though the well’s about 200’ deep.I distill it.

But don’t you think funneling treated water, during a pandemic, into municipal aquifers in Orange County might make an exponential difference in possible problems? I do. Southern CA’s water supply is not exactly the same as the rushing mountain water of New England you are lucky enough to have access to.

Kevin McCairn suggests everyone on municipal water should start boiling their drinking water.

I just really never got too worked up about drinking water safety, considering we live in a 1st world country.

There's people on this Earth who would kill you and your whole family just to have a lifetime supply of tap water from Flint Michigan.

My well is only 30' deep, and I'm pretty sure there's a chipmunk that shits in the flower bed that surrounds it every morning as I always scare him out of there when I come out to go to work.

I have a filter and a UV light, and I've been fine for the past 5 years that I've been drinking it every day. The bulb blew out one time and for a couple of months I was unknowingly drinking the water without it.

People get worked up about water but if there was anything in it that bad, you don't need to drink it cooking or showering would get you just as bad.

Please don't take this as a personal attack I give this speech to everyone who says they don't drink water straight from their tap...

Yeah, most people aren’t as cautious as I am but I do much better without drinking well water where I am. I’ve had my water tested and, being in Illinois, it’s full of fluoride.

I know people who have gotten very sick with e.coli from Milwaukee water which got contaminated from a mistaken dumping of sewer water after a big rainfall and someone who lives over some (Edwards?) aquifer in Tx where the water is so radioactive scrap metal from plumbing lines and water heaters can’t be reused. Then there was a time (uncle news), which never made it to public awareness, when the water in a large city was toxic for weeks which was traced to chemicals improperly disposed of by a major concrete company which used strong poisons for cleaning out the interiors of their concrete mixing trucks. Unfortunately I could go on and on with such stories which never make the news ...
