A friend of ours stopped by for a few minutes today to tell my husband that someone in our condo complex (not my building) passed from Covid. It was a guy I didn't know, but hubs knew well, sadly....

Our friend said the guy---I'm guessing was in 60s or 70s, had uncontrollable bleeding in his body, apparently widespread--he said they thought it started in the kidneys. Family members told him it was a "weird" form of Covid--I said, do you mean a "variant" ? "Yes, that's the word they used."

He wasn't sure if there was clotting also or not.

Thoughts as to which variant with (bleeding in the kidneys) the poor guy had? Sorry I can't keep up with all threads these days to figure it out--grateful for your help.

I asked the friend to let us know if he found out.

Also, just putting this out there--has anyone seen if invermectin is effective if it is a variant version?

BTW, if I didn't mention it before, hubs tested negative for Covid when in the ER.

The primary dr called yesterday for followup and said they have no idea what caused the blood pressure spike.

PS--Cleaned vacuum cleaner filters clogged up today. No question about wearing a mask to do that, lol! Little things like keeping that clean I believe make a difference...

Look man florida extremely unique. The extreme heat, UV light and lack of cloud cover make it very difficult for the virus to survive on any surface or anything for 9 months out of year. .

Its not like brazil where cloud cover and tropical canopy exists, Florida sun is real and UV light kills viruses.

You will never have a major outbreak in florida like you would see in Sao Paolo, Wuhan or Rome simply because of the Sun issue. Florida is also unironically the skin cancer capital of the world because you practically are living under a tanning lamp

Not to say we dont have cases, we DO but they are harder to transmit and if you travel back in time and ask any floridian about Influenza, well it was Rare then also.

The sun is your friend
