The real problem is their battle to get out of 2nd or 3rd world status.

With that, everything is a challenge not just COVID.

And they will never accomplish that feat while anyone with the motivation to provide their children with a better life than what they have has the option to escape to the US.

That's what Biden and his ilk just don't get. We can't evacuate all of South America to the US to fix this problem.

We need to fix South America. But the people with the smarts and motivation to do that are getting the fuck out of there. I don't blame them, but as long as that's their best option nothing will change.
