Damn... I don't know what 750 psi does on a sub, but I know what it does not on a sub, and it's not good if it's doing something it's not supposed to do.

Thanks Wordsie. Lago navy son is fine but it scared the crap out of him. Senior heads will roll. Children should not die before their parents. 750 psi blows out massive O rings, causes flooding of a main compartment? They were at a major depth (4000 psi). They had to blow all ballasts on the largest ballistic submarine in the US fleet to get to the surface. As this submarine dives deeper, its hull shrinks. Everything attached to the hull is on wheels. As it is being crushed on going deeper, its interior size shrinks, which is noisy.

Here's how this plays out. Just like last year, at the same time, cases and deaths dropped from the end of April and through May. This is as to be expected as viral sheds of this nature (COVID) are running seasonal patterns. Spring time to the Summer it calms a bit. This is being obscured by the vax programming, but by mid-June we'll see the Summer shedding season begin and cases will - magically - begin to rise. Just like last year. This will, of course, be blamed on variants and the unvaxed - and then through July the cases will peak a bit, then come down - and then the Fall will hit and up, up, and away we'll go. The vaxed will collapse in droves - and those who don't fully succumb will be primed for their boosters.

This has only just begun.

And those states that just went for broke now - open up and 'back to normal' - will be the hardest hit in just a few short months. It's shaping up to be devastating.

Reminds me of a story a Navy friend of mine told me regarding looking for high pressure steam leaks on board a sub. He told me some pinpoint high pressure steam leaks were invisible and focused like a laser, so they would walk with a wooden broom stick in front of them so it would get cut in half instead of a person.

Sounded kind of low-tech to me, but I tucked away that information just in case I'm ever in a situation where that technique might come in handy.

Yeah, I would go back and edit out the psi number, because that information reveals the depth that sub is capable of attaining, which is classified information.
