Put in the language of economic textbooks the economic “multiplier effect” is far greater at lower income levels than at higher income levels.

The rich won't invest in growing businesses or hiring workers if there is not more demand for products and services.

If you have more demand from a large and economically healthy middle class, there is no shortage of entrepreneurs, rich or not, that will start and grow businesses, and hire workers, even if they have to borrow money or sell shares to do it.

And the lost revenue from still more tax cuts for the rich reduces the revenues and increases the national debt, debt that you and every other taxpayer is on the hook for.
