They're actually far less evil than Google and Apple, and NSA is catching everything everyone does anyway - "privacy" is a myth! The only way to avoid getting yourself in trouble is not doing anything worth catching you for in the first place. Minor piracy is fine, no-one gives a shit about that. If I posed any kind of threat to people in power I'd be concerned about my lack of online privacy, but I don't, and so I have little to worry about. The reason I'm using Windows 10 LTSC, is because it's a stable and problem free OS that allows me to run all the applications I wish to run. Which includes not only games, but also things like audio production software. Good luck doing that on FreeBSD. WINE runs all your games and other software. Has for decades. WINE only runs a few games bub. Not true, it runs almost all Windows software ever made (99%+). And what won’t run in WINE runs fine in a virtual machine. |
