Figures. New Mexico is the only entire state I've ever seen which looks as if it needed to be bulldozed seventy or eighty years ago.

In fact the choice of a name pretty much gives the game away. I mean, I can understand New England, New York, New Jersey, or New Orleans, but "New Mexico"?????

I lived in NM 35 years. The BLM land is the only thing I miss. Hiking, camping; there is nothing like NM’s. I lived in NV and its BLM was not the same.

Now if you wanna see high class towns in NM, you need to check out Chilili, Mountanair, or Bloomfield. Those are some classy places!
